David Yanni is our Head of Operations who brings years of experience and operational industry knowledge to daily operations. Ensuring the implementation of safety practices, compliance, and world class standards at Adelaide Aviation. With a background in Aerobatics, David is no stranger to unusual attitudes. He fosters good habits and stick and rudder skills among all his students and fellow instructors. His commitment to promoting a positive training environment driven by quality and ethics is highly valued and respected by all members of our team.
Hamish Jordan
DEPUTY Head of Operations (PENDING CONDITIONS)
Coming Soon – Hamish brings a wealth of real-world experience to every lesson. He has flown charter operations across South Australia, along with a variety of aerial work missions, giving him a strong operational understanding of flying beyond the training environment.
Hamish is passionate about sharing his knowledge with students and focuses on building both confidence and sound decision-making in the cockpit. There’s a great deal to learn from him, and he’s always approachable and happy to help!

Isla brings the magic of world class compliance and coordination to every successful take off and landing at Adelaide Aviation. She’s always happy to assist every student and instructor with any flight operations issue – big or small, to ensure you get an experience like no other.
Joey Szeto
Training Manager / HEAD OF AIRCRAFT AIRWORTHINESS & MAINTENANCE CONTROL
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Joey is no average flight instructor, he’s also our Training Manager, spin training instructor, and Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) specialist, bringing clear instruction and a student-focused teaching style like no other. He knows his stuff, and is passionate about guiding future instructors, and helping them build strong foundation.
Tony Chen
SENIOR Flight Instructor & Multi-Engine IFR Instructor
Originally from Taiwan, Tony was one of our own FIR graduates, who continued on to be a skilled and personable flight instructor. Loved by his students for his strong focus on fundamentals and flight safety; he creates a supportive learning environment that helps students gain confidence in the cockpit. Tony’s approach to standards and safety in the Multi Engine IFR space makes for productive and effective learning, with an emphasis on real-world threat and error management and problem solving.

Morris Varney
Junior Flight Instructor / Aviation Theory Specialist
Morris, completed his instructor rating right here at Adelaide Aviation, after finishing his Commercial Pilot Licence at his previous flight school. He performed exceptionally well during his training with us and brings his passion for excellence and impeccable airmanship to every lesson.
